VH-1'S MOB WIVES BRINGS CABLE NETWORK BACK TO #1!!!!

Usually, reality television shows are three things: trashy, fake or bad.  On VH-1's cable network, they had some fails that featured all three. 

Flavor Flav gave us his Flavor of Love series which had one contestant (vying for his affection) have an "accident" on the living room hardwood.  It became the first (and hopefully last time) someone defecated on camera; henceforth trashy.

Former Poison frontman, Bret Michaels "blessed" audiences with his Rock of Love and Rock of Love Bus.  In both places, tattooed promiscious women attempted to be groupie understudies as dozens made out with the hard rock legend of three daughters.  Michaels' and hi friends did more damage to the women's movement than any filibuster during the 1960s. 

However in 2011, strong, defined women sell!  VH-1 has become VH NUMBER ONE thanks to a New Jersey show, not called "Jersey Shore"!

They have a new show that kills the competition figuratively and literally.  Mob Wives is an exciting, electric and intense drama that has four women who are basically married to the mob life. 

Renee Graziano is the matriarch of the Fearsome Foursome.  She has a 16 year old boy named AJ.  Renee is ultra protective of her son and her friends.  She is quick to snap if you come in a disrespectful manner.  And she makes no bones about having backup on the ready if someone wants to test her push her patience.

Drita (pronounced d-rita) Davanzo is a tall, redhead Albanian with a fierce bite to her sailor's tongue.  She is the enforcer of the group.  She has broken women's jaws.  She hits like a male boxer.  You are taking a chance to visit ICU if Y.O.U wanna play chicken with her.  Drita is a single mom to two girls.  Loyalty is number 1, 2 and 3 with her.  Rats are allowed to exist in her circle.  If you are one, she is known as the "verminator".  Watch yourself!

Carla Facciolo is a tall brunette with a Wall Street background.  She moves in silence and will fight when threatened to.  She works out on a regular basis with Drita.  Carla has a savage punch.  She has a young boy and a girl. 

Karen Gavano is perhaps the most controversial of the Mob Wives.  She has the most famous father in Sammy "the Bull" Gravano (a former, feared Gambino hit man).  She has battled with her families and friends of her father's victims.  She has contended with Drita.  She has a book coming out that attracted more heat than the sun's epicenter.  She might be the lightning rod of all the Mob Wives. 

This show isn't built on one magnetic character.  If you check Twitter, each one has over 20,000 or more followers since Mob Wives debuted two months ago.  The executive producer, Jenni Graziano has over 5,000 herself.  Renee's son, AJ, has over 5,000 followers too.

Twitter aside, VH-1 picked up Mob Wives for a three-year extension.  They know the show's a gold mine.  On tonight's season finale, the movie "Horrible Bosses" (featuring Jason Bateman) did an overload of promos during commercials.  Only good shows get to preview blockbuster movies!

Mob Wives has made being a wife to an incarcerated felon a rite of passage.  Every one of the ladies sees loyalty in their own way.  Most have stayed loyal despite their men cavorting with other women while being with them or when they come home. 

This show has cliffhangers every week.  They keep the audience waiting and begging.  Also, Jenni, AJ, Renee, Drita, Carla and Karen talk to their twitter fans constantly. 

You have drama, excitement and a polarizing cast.  And this show is NOT on Oxygen.
